San Andreas Government Staff Duties and Explanation
Executive Branch
Governer((R6))
Governor refers to the chief executive of Los Santos, retaining sovereign police power, being not subordinate to the federal authorities except by laws provided by the enumerated powers section of the federal constitution, and serve as the political and ceremonial head of the Los Santos City.
The highest power within Los Santos, expected to uphold all laws of Los Santos and abide, with reason, to the powers vested in him by the people of Los Santos as well holds the authority to overrule any decision of the executive government.
Vice-Governor ((R5))
The Vice-Governor is the highest officer of state after the governor, standing in for that officer when he or she is absent from Los Santos or temporarily incapacitated. In the event a governor dies, resigns or is removed from office, the Vice-Governor becomes the acting governor until the next elections.
The Vice-Governor has the same duties as the governor.
Chief of Staff ((R4))
The duties of the Chief of Staff are both managerial and advisory and can include the following: Select key City Hall staff and supervise them, structure the City Hall staff system, control the flow of people into the meeting office(s), manage the flow of information, protect the interests of the Governor, negotiate with congress, other members of the executive branch, and extra governmental political groups to implement the Governor's agenda, advise the Governor on various issues.
Secretary of the treasury ((R4))
The Secretary of the Treasury is the economic adviser to the Governor and plays a critical role in policy-making by bringing an economic and government financial policy perspective to issues facing the government. He or she is responsible for formulating and recommending domestic and international financial, economic, and tax policy, participating in the formulation of broad fiscal policies that have general significance for the economy. He or she oversees the activities of the Department in carrying out its major law enforcement responsibilities; in serving as the financial agent for the Los Santos Government.
Secretary of State ((R4))
The Los Santos Secretary of State is the head of the United States Department of State, concerned with foreign affairs. His or her's duties are to organizes and supervises the entire Los Santos Department of State and the Los Santos Foreign Service, advises the Governor on matters relating to Los Santos foreign policy, participates in high-level negotiations, responsible for overall direction, coordination, and supervision of interdepartmental activities of the Los Santos Government overseas, providing information and services to Los Santos citizens living or traveling abroad, including providing credentials in the form of passports and visas, supervises the Los Santos immigration policy abroad, communicates issues relating the Los Santos foreign policy to Congress and to Los Santos citizens.
Secretary of Defense and Management of Public Services ((R3))
The Secretary of Defense is in the chain of command and exercises command and control, subject only to the orders of the Governor, over all Department of Defense forces for both operational and administrative purposes.
The Office of Secretary of Defense is vested with legal powers which exceeds those of any commissioned officer, and is second only to the Office of Governor in the military hierarchy, it has sometimes unofficially been referred to as a "deputy commander-in-chief".
State Inspector ((R2))
Oversees the whole Los Santos public services department, inspecting and secure if the head commanders of each department are following their quotas in represent of his department to benefit the city of Los Santos.
Chairmain council of economic affairs ((R1))
An office within the executive office of the Governor that advises the Governor of Los Santos on economic status and instructing the Secretary of the treasury and the Governor in further actions that can be taken to improve the economy of the Los Santos City, under the Governor's approval.
Legislative Branch
State representative(s) ((R2))
The State Representative duties are to listen to concerns of constituents, reduce challenges through legislative action, and find resources to support district success. Together with three senators and two state representatives, your representative works to find practical solutions that will support your district and complement the other three districts, attends public functions, offer solutions from the state either be available for questions, has materials on legislation, and answers constituents' questions in a timely manner.
Senator(s) ((R2))
The most important duty senators have is to write, propose and help to pass state laws, either they are required to make decisions in several topics both as recorded and unrecorded votes on the floor and in committees. Therefore, senators need to be knowledgeable, able to evaluate information from sometimes conflicting sources and make decisions benefiting their constituents. In addition, the Senate is responsible of holding impeachment trials, approving or denying treaties negotiated by the president and accepting or rejecting Governmental appointments.
Each senator is responsible of running his or her own office, supervising the staff, budgeting the personal and office expenses and balancing the expenses at the end of the fiscal year.
Staff ((R1))
The duty of any Staff will be to follow a schedule given out by the Chief of Staff, they must pass a few initial tests before being promoted to a higher position in the Government. Staff members are usually filling out vacant spots and gain experience from the duties of other members in the Government. Staff are meant to be as professional as possible in order to gain more respect and experience in the Government of San Andreas.
Security Branch
Secret Service Director(s) ((R2))
Most trained agent, with the skills of the most elite LEOs. Highest positioned Agent of the Secret Service. He is responsible for the Governors safety, all the training schedules are carried out by the Director. He is the head of the Security and ensures all Agents know how to carry out all the important duties. He is the one choosing which Agent can be promoted to a Senior Agent according to his ability of listening, responding and learning. Usually leads the whole Agents team, leading them in their formations for the government staff protection.
Senior Security Agent(s) ((R1))
High trained agent, with a superior knowledge above the regular security agencies, inspecting and instructing them in any situations related to the government staff protection, In case of the Directors absence, the Senior Security Agent will take the lead of the Security Agent's team.
Usually the Senior Security Agents are experienced in leadership actions and a extended law enforcement knowledge and experience.
Security Agent(s) ((R0))
High trained agents which the role is a close-protection agents, escorting the government staff, support as IED detection, electronic "bug" detection, counter-sniper monitoring, pre-searches facilities, and background-checks people who will have contact with the government, protecting the government staff at high risk of assassination, focusing on very different roles, checking cars for IED devices, bombs, watching for potential shooters, blockign the crowd to maintain their distance and block the path of aggressive men.
The agents will also drive the government staff offering protection outdoors of the City hall, along with other security agencies and Law Enforcement agencies. Always working for the protection of the government staff.
