Application Process
1. Application
The first step to becoming a senator will be handing in a basic application. This application is required to be filled out, it's purpose is to provide us the essential information on whether you will be successful or not as a senator. Applicants will then be handpicked for the literacy exam. These applications are to be posted on the government website in the miscellaneous section.

2. Literacy Exam
Each applicant that has been brought into stage two will complete an official government literacy exam. This exam will test you on your knowledge over politics, and your ability to use the English language. All Senators must be able to speak and write in basic English, along with having a basic amount of knowledge over US government. Applicants who achieve a passing score will move onto the election.
3. Election
After achieving a passing score, applicants will then be elected in by public. You will compete against other applicants in your district ((address)). After a set voting period, your votes will be tallied up. In the end you must reach a positive score against your competition. Failure to do so will result in removal from the application process, thus resetting you. If you achieve a positive score, you will then be contacted by the a government representative for the final interview.
4. Final Interview
At this point in time, you will be contacted for a final interview. This interview will then decide whether or not you will be accepted into government.

*Must have lived in Los Santos for at least 5 years (( Level 5 ))*
*Prior knowledge in politics and Government
*Must pass background check by the government (( Less than 30 crimes/10 Arrests ))*
*Swear into oath of public office
*Pass an exam before being officially inaugurated
