Introduction
This is the Official Handbook used by The Los Santos Police Department and it contains information for our staff's use and guidance for common practice and code of conduct, it's also a reference for Applicants and the public who wish to know more about the Police Department.
To The Public
The Los Santos Police Department is on a mission, the mission is protecting the city and making it a safer place for you, the citizens of Los Santos and its future generations. With your trust and faith in us, and a strong, disciplined Police Force, we'll be able to achieve our goal.
Calling for Help / Assistance
If you are in need of an Emergency Service, you may contact both the LSPD & SAFMD by dialing 911 (( /call 911 )) and advise the dispatcher on your location, and a brief description of the situation, and if possible a description of the suspect. If we for some do not respond, then dial 911 again and we'll definitely respond
Encountering The Police
In the Los Santos Police Department we pride ourselves in being professional, fair, and helpful. If you are stopped by a Peace Officer of the LSPD, do not run, that will only cause trouble for yourself. Be compliant and respectful (refer to us as officer, sir, or ma'am) and you will be shown respect.
Officers may conduct a routine search for illegal items. If you aren't behaving suspiciously you won't be searched, however compliance is always taken into consideration.
